What we're about

OCS Consulting plc, established in 1984, initially as a one-man operation and has flourished into one of the UK's leading IT consultancies with over 120 full time permanent staff in the UK, Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium.  OCS undertakes a variety of development projects for many clients, such as; Pret A Manger, The Kennel Club, Argos, AJ Gallaghers, Nutricia Research, a number of UN Agencies, Macmillan Cancer Support, Motability Operations, AON Insurance, Oxford University Press, The Tate, Taylor & Francis and G4S to name a few.

Who we are

Maurice Aroesti - Group Chief Executive

Maurice joined us as a Project Manager on an insurance assignment; nearly 27 years on he leads OCS both in the UK and Europe.  He has retained a strong interest in the insurance domain and oversees OCS' joint business service venture for the commercial insurance market.  Maurice also introduced Net Promoter Score to OCS in 2007 as part of the customer-centric strategy.  And he still does some high level consultancy - so he knows precisely what it is to be a working consultant.

Brick Du Bourg - Services Director

Joining OCS as a database analyst over twenty years ago, Brick's first assignment was implementing electronic messaging, at that time a complex task.  His knowledge of software engineering methodology and his ever-expanding technical skills have allowed Brick to lead OCS' delivery teams both as Project Manager (Atern and PRINCE2 qualified) and Programme Director.  He has also served as an interim IT Director and as a Development Director for OCS' customers.  His structured, reasoned, empathetic and pragmatic approach ideally places him to oversee IT service delivery.

Ty Sapsford - Business Director

Ever commercially-minded, Ty decided early on that technology could be improved with an injection of business acumen. He continues to seek ways of making businesses use technology more efficiently, including OCS itself.  Since joining OCS from a leading global analytical software house over 20 years ago, Ty led a number of custom software developments in areas as diverse as the deregulated UK energy sector, international healthcare, FMCG distribution, governmental agency financial planning and management, retail banking customer insight and risk management.  In 2003, as part of OCS' customer-centric strategy implementation Ty moved into a broader customer facing role.

Richard Williams - Project Manager/Operations Manager

After enjoying the challenges of working for a global energy company,  Richard decided to seek out a place where he could involve himself more closely in operations. Taking over OCS' infrastructure 20+ years ago, Richard was quick to respond to customer demands, Richard took on board a number of customer infrastructure needs, sometimes as a supplement such as holiday cover, but others were broader.  Today, he has a combined role of Project Manager and Operations Manager, looking after a number of our well established customers.

Yves Poriau - General Manager - OCS Consulting BV

Yves originally worked at OCS Consulting plc during the late 1980s / early 1990s.  Yves re-joined OCS Consulting in 1998 to set up OCS Consulting BV in the Netherlands specialising in the use of SAS Software within the Pharmaceutical sector.  Fifteen+ years on, with a SAS team of nearly 60 consultants OCS Consulting BV are very much the leading SAS Consultancy in the Netherlands.  Our Dutch office specialties include; SAS Consultancy, Resourcing, SAS Managed Services, Biometric Support, Data Analytics, Statistical Analysis, Clinical Trial Management, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, within the Pharma & Life Science, Insurance and Financial domains.

Linda - Marketing and Sales Support Manager

Ever the problem solver, during the last 27 years Linda has performed numerous roles at OCS helping OCS and our customers communicate.  From a Marcomms background Linda is crucial in ensuring that OCS connects on a personal level with its customers.  Using her knowledge of online marketing and marketplaces, as well as her two decades of experience in the technology industry, Linda expertly finds the right people for project, interim or permanent roles.  CIM qualified in Digital Marketing and being someone who enjoys doing, Linda continues to maintain OCS' and several SME websites as well as devising and implementing OCS' digital marketing campaigns.

Patricia Kozilek - Project & Service Liaison

Having worked on some of the largest telecoms projects in Brazil, Patricia came to Europe to seek new challenges.  She joined OCS over 10 years ago as part of its business analyst team, and increasingly found herself using her technical and business-based communication skills to facilitate programme management.  Patricia now provides liaison services to a number of OCS customers as well as overseeing the communication touchpoints for our Cash Management services.
